About Us

Hello!

We are a bunny-loving couple located in NE Philadelphia (Tacony/Mayfair area, 19135) and we'd love to watch your bunnies!

We offer boarding in our home. The buns become part of the family while they're here. We also provide regular pictures and updates, even up to once a day!

Your bunny will stay in a large x-pen with plenty of toys and play structures to keep them entertained. They'll get daily attention, head rubs, and treats. You don't have to bring anything unless you want to!  We provide all necessities, including hay (timothy, orchard grass, oat, or botanical hay from Oxbow or Small Pet Select), fresh veggies, and pellets (Oxbow Adult blend). We use bowls for water (bottles available on request) and kiln-dried pine pellets or CareFresh paper litter for litter boxes.

Between boarding, foster, rescue, and our personal buns, we have cared for hundreds of bunnies of all shapes and sizes over the last decade and have experience with head tilt, eye/ear/nose/throat infections, arthritis, injured limbs, overgrown teeth, tooth spurs, head tilt, blindness, incontinence, UTIs, urine scald, "poopy butt," bladder sludge, "floppy bunny syndrome," and stasis. It's no problem to administer medications to your bunny while they're here, oral, topical, or injectable. If anything were to go wrong while your bun was under our care, we'd immediately recognize it, get in contact with you, and offer to take your bunny to your preferred vet or the closest emergency vet (Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital) as needed.

Please note that in addition to our own bunnies, we also have an elderly dog. Ginger is generally a very calm, quiet, and sweet dog who gets along spectacularly with our bunnies and sleeps about 95% of the day. However, she does get very nervous when new people enter the house and usually barks when they first arrive. We will not let your bunnies interact with any other pets or boarders while they stay here, including Ginger. Ginger has not shown any interest in actively seeking out the bunnies, has never barked at them, and we are very comfortable letting our personal bunnies free roam around the house with her. We occasionally have an elderly foster dog as well and would never foster a dog without testing them with our bunnies first. Our buns are our first loves and original family members.

Ginger stays on the first floor and cannot climb stairs. We trust her with our bunnies 100%. However, we recognize that most bunnies are unfamiliar with dogs and, therefore, do not typically board bunnies on the same floor as the dog(s) unless our boarders have bunnies who are very used to the smell of dogs and/or are okay with it.
